Prince Al-Waleed, son of Saudi billionaire Prince Khaled bin Talal, has reportedly woken up after spending nearly 20 years in a coma.
He fell into a coma in 2005 following a car accident while studying at a military college in the United Kingdom. Since then, he has been on life support at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, dependent on a feeding tube.
In 2015, doctors advised removing life support, but his father refused, holding on to hope for a miracle. In 2019, the prince showed limited signs of responsiveness, such as slight movements.
Reports now circulating online suggest that the long-comatose prince has regained consciousness. However, the news has not yet been confirmed by his family or official sources.
The story has drawn global attention, with many awaiting verification from the royal family.
