Four killed in drive-by sh00ting at Chicago rapper Mello Buckzz’s album release party

CHICAGO – Chicago rapper Mello Buckzz is mourning the loss of her boyfriend and three close friends after a deadly drive-by shooting at her album release party Wednesday night.
The attack occurred around 11 PM outside Artis Lounge on West Chicago Avenue, where a gunman opened fire on a crowd, killing four and injuring 14 others.
Shocking video footage circulating online captures the chaos, with gunshots ringing out just after a car passed by.
Among the injured, three women remain in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the back, leg, and mouth.
Police have made no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing. Mello Buckzz shared her grief on Instagram, posting emotional tributes to the victims, including her late boyfriend and two close friends.
The shooting happened just hours before the release of her new EP HollyHood. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
