Botswana President Duma Boko Expected in Malawi for Independence Day Celebrations

Botswana’s President, Duma Boko, is expected to arrive in Malawi this afternoon for a three-day official visit.
According to a statement from Malawi’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Boko will land at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe at 1 p.m.
During his visit, he will be the guest of honour at Malawi’s 61st Independence Day celebrations, which will take place on Sunday at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
The statement also noted that President Boko will hold bilateral talks with President Lazarus Chakwera, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries.
