Authorities in the United States have arrested a suspect identified as Burke in connection with the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was discovered in September 2025 in Hollywood.

According to investigators, the decomposed remains were found inside a vehicle after reports of a foul smell led authorities to a tow yard. The body was discovered in the front compartment of a Tesla, reportedly registered to an address linked to D4vd.

Officials say the victim may have died weeks before the discovery, though the exact cause of death has not yet been determined. The case has remained under active investigation, with authorities initially treating it as an unexplained death.

Court documents indicate that a grand jury in Los Angeles has been reviewing evidence in the case since December, with D4vd reportedly identified as a “person of interest.” However, no formal conviction or confirmed charge against the singer has been publicly announced.

Police have stated that the 21-year-old is currently in custody and may be presented to the District Attorney’s office as investigations continue.

The victim, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, had previously been reported missing in April 2024 from her home in Lake Elsinore, California.

Authorities say more details will be released as the investigation progresses.
