Truck Crashes into MRA Fence at Mwanza Border

A truck has crashed into the fence of the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) office at the One-Stop Border Post in Mwanza.
Police spokesperson Hope Kasakula said the driver, Basilo Cardiso, a Mozambican national, lost control of the truck as he was approaching the border from Zobue Road. The truck was carrying goods at the time of the accident.
Kasakula said Cardiso, who works for C/O Horecean in Tete, sustained serious injuries, while the front part of the truck was extensively damaged.
