South African Amapiano Bombshell Nkosazana Daughter, has paid tribute to late musician Mpura after purchasing her dream Porsche at the age of 25.
In an emotional message shared online wit a picture, the singer wrote, “I wish you could see me now,” in reference to Mpura, who is credited with introducing her to the Amapiano genre.
The gesture has resonated with many fans, highlighting the impact Mpura had on her early career before her rise to fame.
Nkosazana Daughter has since become one of the leading voices in Amapiano, achieving widespread success across the region.
Mpura, whose real name was Mpura Sehloho, died in a tragic car accident on August 9, 2021, at the age of 25. The accident occurred along the N4 near Rustenburg, where he was travelling to a performance alongside fellow artist Killer Kau and others.
The latest tribute underscores the lasting influence Mpura continues to have on artists within the Amapiano industry.
