12 Arrested at Dzaleka Camp Over Multiple Crimes

Police in Dowa District have arrested 12 people at Dzaleka Refugee Camp on suspicion of committing various crimes.
Dowa Police spokesperson, Sub-Inspector Alice Sitima, said two of the suspects, Jofule Sumaili, 18, and Chriss Pululu, 20, both from the Democratic Republic of Congo, are suspected of having sex with a minor.
The remaining 10 suspects are aged between 14 and 33. Among them are two local women who were arrested on suspicion of stealing various items.
Sitima said all the suspects were living in the same house.
The suspects are expected to appear in court soon to answer the charges.
