Two Arrested in Mzimba for Illegal Firearm Possession as Police Recover Revolver

Police have arrested Clifford Mbeye and Jonathan Kaposka, both aged 40, for possession of a firearm without a licence.
Northern Region Police spokesperson Cecilia Mfune said Mbeye was arrested in Mzimba Boma, while Kaposka was arrested in Chasato in the same district.
Mfune said Mbeye is suspected of smuggling firearms from South Africa.
She also noted that the other suspect has been threatening people in the village of Gabriel Ndhlovu, allegedly saying he will shoot anyone who touches him.
During the investigation, police also recovered a Webley MK IV .455 revolver.
The suspects will appear before court soon.
