17 Malawians Killed in Zimbabwe Bus Crash

At least 17 Malawian citizens have died after a passenger bus travelling to Malawi overturned in Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
The tragedy has been confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
According to a press statement, the bus was carrying about 60 passengers and three crew members when it overturned between Kotwa and the Nyamapanda Border Post.
The ministry said at least 17 people have so far been confirmed dead, while several others sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals including Mutoko District Hospital, Kotwa District Hospital and Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare.
Officials from the Malawi Embassy in Harare are reportedly on the ground working closely with Zimbabwean authorities following the accident.
