APM Lawyer Says ‘I am not ready to start cross examining Sulemani’, Court Adjourns

Lawyer representing the first respondent in the on-going presidential election case Frank Mbeta has said he is no ready to start cross examining Malawi Congress Party (MCP) last witness.

Sulemani, who has being cross examined by Attorney General Kalekeni Kaphale representing Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) demonstrated how ghost users penetrated into MEC system and changed figures.

Praying to the court Mbeta said considering that Sulemani’s testimony is technical in nature, he needs time to consult to avoid repetition of questions.

The court has adjourned to tomorrow, Wednesday, at 9 am
