Born 35 years ago in the Village Headman Chimungu in Mponera, Dowa District, Born Riche ventured into music industry at the tender age.
He started singing after realizing that he is talented in composing and singing songs especially inspirational songs.
“After realizing the talent I have, I thought I should start singing and releasing songs especially inspirational songs to people,” said the fifth born child in the family of seven children 4 boys and 3 girls.
He released his first album in 2014 titled “Lingakome” with 12 songs which include Adzandichiza, Yesu Amasintha, Lingakome itself, FaceBook, just to mention a few. The album was recorded at SL Studio in Bangwe, Blantyre.
His second Album was released in 2018 titled “Mbiri Yanga” with songs like Tsegula Maso, Wandiswa Ntima (featuring Richard) Kholo and etc. This “Mbiri Yanga” album was recorded at Ralph Ching’amba studio in Bangwe.
“I also released single track titled “Kukondera” which its Album will be released end of this year or early next year and is being recorded at my own studio called “Again Music Records” at Zingwangwa Township,” he said.
Richie showcases his talent at Blue Elephant in the commercial city of Malawi, Blantyre and International Women Festival, Malosa in Zomba and also in other different events.
His favourite food is Pork with Nsima while in music he loves Reggae and African Fusion.
