A police officer in Nigeria has allegedly committed suicide after he killed a couple
The officer, Kenneth Enamika, committed suicide after killing a couple, Cajethan and Oluchi Aputanze, in Mgbidi, Oru West Local Government Area of the state.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Orlando Ikeokwu, said Enamika in a suicide note said he killed the couple after Oluchi collected N150, 000 from him with the promise that she would marry him, only for him to discover later that she was already married to Cajethan.
The police say investigation into the matter has commenced while the corpses have been deposited in the morgue.
