Unconfirmed reports reaching this publication indicate that a covid-19 patient who was quarantined at a facility in Karonga has escaped.
Ulemu Milanzi aged 27 is reported to have escaped from the quarantine centre after testing positive for Corona virus.
Ironically, his relatives refuted the released medical report that their son had tested positive for covid-19.
In an audio clip making rounds on social media, a supposedly relative to Ulemu said her relative and others had just arrived from Tanzania. She said they were all quarantined for more than 21 days and Ulemu tested negative for Covid-19.
