Kasungu police worried over rising suicide cases

Police in Kasungu have expressed worry over an increased number of suicide cases in the district.
Out of the eight registered suicide cases in the month of August, seven are men.
Recently, a 20-year-old man hanged himself in the district after leaving a note that he was tired of poverty.
Kasungu police spokesperson Inspector Harry Namwaza attributed the increase to issues of debts, poverty and marital misunderstandings.
