SA Court Orders Bushiri Property To Be Forfeited

Pretoria Magistrate Thandi Theledi has ordered that a Centurion Property valued at R5.5 million belonging to Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary Bushiri be forfeited to the state.

Magistrate Theledi reached to the conclusion after the couple violated their bail conditions in South Africa.

Weeks ago, after Bushiri and his wife spent over two weeks in police custody they were told not to cross the boarders of South Africa and had their travelling documents taken away from them.

Magistrate Thandi Theledi asked for the Bushiris to be called three times at their hearing on Thursday.

This was down to record in court that the Bushiris were not present.

The couple’s legal team in South Africa said they were not informed of their movements and only know what they have seen in the media.

The magistrate ruled that the Bushiris have forfeited their property which was tied to their bail to the state.
