Heavy Rains Displaces Over 60 Households In Kasungu

Heavy rains have displaced over 60 households in Kasungu East Constituency.

Member of Parliament for the area Madalitso Kazombo has said the most affected families are from Mphepo, Chinemba and Phanana areas.

He said houses have been destroyed and property, including food, has been lost.

Days ago, heavy rains have damaged over 200 houses and an Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) deport at Lipiri in Traditional Authority (T/A) Kayembe in Dowa district and three people died in Ntcheu District following stormy rains that hit the district on Thursday last week.
