A tyre fitter in Kasungu has died after a tractor tyre he was inflating suddenly burst throwing him hard against a stationary vehicle.
Kasungu police assistant spokesperson, Miracle Mkozi, has identified the man as Yohane Seleman who was working at Pick Fit tyres branch in the district.
Selemani died of head injuries at Kasungu District Hospital where he was being treated.
The deceased hailed from Maloti village, in the area of Tradition Authority Mlolo in Nsanje.
