Information reaching this publication indicates that there runningbattles between the law enforcers and Minibus operators who are staging a national wide strike to force government to reduce fuel price on increase seating capacity.

The strike by minibus operators saw most passengers across the country stranded in various deports.

For instance in Manyowe Township, Minibus operators blocked the road near Mudi bridge and in Chirimba, the drivers blocked the road near Malandilova stage.

Police had to use teargas to disperse the angry drivers.

The minibus operators are demanding government to reduce fuel prices because the seating capacity was reduced to 60% as part of Covid19 preventive measures.
