One of the musicians who has for so long been regarded as a gospel artist, Doyen has set the record straight saying he’s not a gospel musician as he feels he’s not worthy it.
Doyen took to his page saying despite that he makes clean and gospel music, his deeds do not portray what he preaches in his songs as mostly the world drags him into dirty therefore making him feel not worthy to be called a Gospel artist.
Now, Doyen says he’s just an ordinary musician just like others.
“I am simply a Musician, a Christian, and artist that loves and believes in God. I have made Gospel music but sometimes my actions are not in suit with what a Gospel artist is supposed to do . A Gospel musician should be an example to Christians. I am not fit to be a Gospel musician,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Lilongwe based artist has promised his fans a new song at the end of this week titled “KUWALA.”
