VP AND TASKFORCE HAIL MALAWIANS FOR SYSTEMS REVIEW INPUT

State Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima who chairs the Public Service Systems Review Taskforce has expressed gratitude to Malawians who have responded positively to the Taskforce’s call for views, proposals and comments on the review of a number of Public Service Systems.

The Taskforce called on the public and stakeholders to input into the review process for the past three weeks.

Speaking following the close of receiving the input on Sunday March 21, Publicist for the Public Sector Reforms McCarthy Mwalwimba said the Taskforce was grateful for the input Malawians have submitted, describing the feedback as “Overwhelming.”

According to Mwalwimba, the information will be crucial towards the finalization of a Recommendation Report to be submitted to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera within 90 days. The 90 days that the Taskforce was given ends on May 24, 2021.

Under review are the systems of allowances, procurement, employment contracts; conditions of service and restructuring of the public Service.
