President Lazarus Chakwera is this morning expected to officially open 2021/2022 Budget Meeting of Parliament in the 49th Session of Parliament.
According to a statement from the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC).
The ceremony is expected to take place at Parliament Building in the Capital City Lilongwe.
The statement signed by Secretary to the President and Cabinet Zanga-Zanga Chikhosi, says the function is expected to start at 10 am and adds that all COVID-19 preventive measures will be adhered to.
This is the second time Chakwera is delivering State of Nation Address at the August House since he was elected president on June 23, 2020.
