The 50-year-old man who has been bedridden for 23 years in Dedza due to stroke, yesterday was taken out into the sun for the first time when some Good Samaritans came for a visiting.
Yotamu Nkokoko was all smiles at the fresh experience and also because his visitors brought him a movable bed, blankets, laundry soap, a solar panel, cooking oil, salt, sugar and a radio receiver to keep him company.
Apostle Clifford Kawinga of the Salvation for All Ministries also handed Nkokoko the Bible.
Apostle Kawinga, who had time to pray with Nkokoko, says in the next three weeks, he will construct a better house for Nkokoko.
