The just retired President of the DPP in the north, Goodall Gondwe has today told congregants at Kenneth Kaunda memorial prayers in Mzuzu of how the former head of state made him a cup of tea while on an IMF mission in that country.
And on a lighter after official business, Kenneth Kaunda invited Gondwe for dinner at his Presidential palace, but he was asked to walk from his hotel to the palace.
To his surprise, Gondwe was treated to a VIP standard.
Goodall Gondwe has further said humbleness is very important in one’s life.
He concluded that Kaunda displayed such humbleness in his entire life.
