Zambian Man Sliced Into Two Pieces Dies After Being Run Over By A Train

Gift Chidila 28 of Kafue was run over by a Locomotive Train in Kafue Town, Shikoswe yesterday, 20th July 2021.

Kafue District Commissioner Gibson Spencer Sinkala confirmed the death of Gift Chidila to Kafue Times in a telephone interview.

Sinkala said the accident happened on Tuesday, 20th July 20th at 10:30hrs. He said the deceased was walking along the Railway line with a headset in both his ears which made him fail to hear the hooting from the train resulting in it running over him.

Furthermore, He disclosed that the accident occurred in Shikoswe along the rail line between Lusaka road and the road going to NCZ.

The body of Chidila has since been deposited in Kafue General Hospital mortuary awaiting burial reports Fyambe.
