Criminals Break into Mkukula Magistrate court in Lilongwe

Criminals have broken into Mkukula Magistrate Court at Lumbadzi and have reportedly gone away with over K1m and five cellphones that were rendered as exhibits in some cases.

Mkukula Magistrate Court Clerk, Issac Atusaye, has told us this evening that there were no security guards early morning today as the court does not have permanent security and so the thieves took advantage to break in. He said they reported the matter to Lumbadzi police who visited the court for assessment.

Lumbadzi Police spokesperson, Felix Kwinyani, has confirmed but could not provide details.
