The body of late Mama Mbumba Margaret Banda, wife to late Aleke Banda will be laid to rest today in Chirimba Township in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Margaret Banda died of COVID-19 on Thursday at Partners in Hope hospital in Lilongwe.
Masankho Banda, AKB’s son has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
The late Mbumba Banda senior was born on October 11, 1938.
Meanwhile the funeral ceremony is underway in Chirimba, Blantyre.
