Bushiri in special prayers for front-line health workers

As corona virus continues to claim more and more lives across the country, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) will hold special prayers for frontline health workers in the country tonight.

Bushiri confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his facebook page seen by this publication.

“Due to the current pandemic, we have seen medical personnel being stretched very thin. They have been working tirelessly and endlessly to see to it that you and I are given the best health care. Health professionals play a central and critical role in improving access and quality health care for the population. They provide essential services that promote health, prevent diseases and deliver health care services to individuals, families and communities based on the primary health care approach.

“God has, therefore, placed it upon my spirit that I must pray for these frontline workers tonight. There is a special grace of preservation that I need to release into your lives. Join the conference rooms in your scrubs or relevant attire. It is going to be spectacular!,” wrote Bushiri on his official facebook.

Over 2000 Malawians including two Cabinet Ministers have succumbed to COVID-19 across the country.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is urging all Malawians to continue adhering to COVID-19 despite a drop in the number of active cases.
