UTM yet to receive Kalindo’s resignation letter

United Transformation Movement (UTM) Party has said it is yet to receive resignation letter from two former members of the party who resigned recently.

Two weeks ago Bon Kalindo resigned from UTM Party and also as National Youth Director citing failure by Tonse Alliance leaders to fulfill some of the campaign promises.

The past weekend the party also saw the resignation of Frank Gonani, the party’s Southern Region Secretary.

Speaking in an interview with the press UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati said the party is yet to receive official communication from the two members.

But she hinted that every member has the right resign or to remain in the party.

Effort to talk to Kalindo on the matter proved futile.
