Namalomba Asks Govt To Offer Strong Security To Its Officials Following Death Of MERA Boss Alinafe Bonongwe

Spokesperson for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Shadreck Namalomba has urged government to offer more security to its officials working in border posts.

Namalomba made the remarks following the death of Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) Dedza post boss, Alinafe Bonongwe.

Bonongwe was found dead in his bathroom at around 9PM on Friday at Airfield Location at Dedza Boma. At the time he was found, there was a piece of rope tying his neck to the shower.

Namalomba said that the government officials will be engulfed in fear if security agencies delay in investigating the Bonongwe issue.
