Police have arrested a 70 year old man, Phillip Wilawila, for allegedly, murdering his wife.
Sergeant Chisomo Chuma, who is Nkhotakota Police Station Deputy Public Relations Officer , says the incident occurred Sunday evening.
She said the woman, Victoria Mkusa, died at 68, after having a disagreement with the man , who later allegedly assaulted her.
The suspect, comes from Nkhata Village, in the area of Senior Chief Mwadzama, in the district, will appear in court soon to answer murder charge.
