Former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is this afternoon scheduled to address Malawians on challenges rocking the country.
The address comes amid rumours that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is hunting for him and his wife Gertrude Mutharika over alleged abuse of Presidential duty-free privileges.
Mutharika’s spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Namalomba, Mutharika’ address will start at 2pm.
