Business woman Idah Chicker Chabs donates three piece suit to best performing teacher in PSLCE exams

Well-known business lady Idah Chabuka, popularly known as Idah Chicker Chabs has donated a brand new-three piece suit and a pair of shoe to Esaya Kaunda, a primary school teacher at Mantenga in Dedza District.

Nyirenda emerged as the best teacher in the district after it was revealed that over 130 learners attained A’s in his mathematics subject in the 2023 Primary School Leaving Certificate Examinations (PSLCE).

Writing on her official facebook page Chabs said she donated the suit to Nyirenda as one way of appreciating his effort.

“This afternoon I was so delighted to meet Mr. Esaya Kaunda and give him a brand new-three piece suit and a pair of shoe. This is to appreciate and commend him for a job well done as a teacher. Mr. Kaunda is a primary school teacher assigned in Maths at one of the schools in Dedza and over 130 students attained A’s in his subject in the 2023 PSLCE,” said Chabs.

She added: “Just as Malcom X said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
