Suspected thief beaten to death in Blantyre (watch video)

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that unknown suspected thief has been beaten to death by an angry mob in Nkolokosa Township in Blantyre this morning.

According to an eyewitness, the suspected thief was caught red-handed attempting to steal from a house by a maid.

The maid after notice the thief shouted for help and residents responded positively and managed to apprehend the suspect thief.

The group then assaulted the suspected thief to death.

The body of the suspected thief has since been taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) mortuary.
