The information, Communications and Technology (ICT) Association of Malawi (Ictam) has described technology as a catalyst for a turn-around for the country’s economy.

Ictam President Clarence Gama said Ictam will continue to stand firm to help the country grow in the ICT sector.

Gama was saying this earlier today at the 2024 ICT Expo at BICC in Lilongwe.

“The Expo is an opportunity to explore the transformative power of digital technology” said Gama.

He also added that this is a thrilling moment to see so many innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders in one place, united by a shared vision for digital empowered Malawi. We should work to harness the power of digital technology and create a brighter future for Malawi.
