Mzuzu University Plans to Become Best Tourism and Hospitality University in Malawi

Mzuzu university(Mzuni) has expressed their plans for becoming best school for tourism and hospitality here in Malawi. This has been revealed during the graduation ceremony happening today on 15 May 2025 at Grandpalace Hotel in Mzuzu.
Speaking on the ceremony , the chairperson of Mzuzu University Council , Ambassador Hawa O. Ndilowe, said the university has started a new project called the Mzuni Hospitality project in Dunduzu to help them reach the goal.
She also said the University has started Choma Mega farms to make more money to support itself without depending too much on other sources.
The minister of tourism Vera Kamtukule was one of the graduating students with PhD at the ceremony and has encouraged the whole her fellow graduate to use education to fuel innovate, leadership and change.
