Madness Entertainment has come out swinging against recent allegations that their artist, Kineo Madness, copied another musician’s work in his latest release, “Kwa Neba”, which premiered on March 3, 2026.
In an official statement, the label described the accusations as “baseless and false”, asserting that Kineo Madness is an original artist and that “Kwa Neba” is fully his own creation.
The management also warned that the individual making the claims would face legal consequences, saying: “We are taking legal action against the individual making these false claims and will pursue all avenues to protect our artist’s rights and reputation.”
Madness Entertainment added that the situation would serve as a lesson for anyone attempting to attack their brand: “We will make sure that we utilize this opportunity to be a lesson to the next person who is also planning to make a name by attacking our well-built brand.”
Review Wasema, the communications officer for Madness Entertainment, confirmed the release and encouraged all inquiries to be directed to him.
The controversy erupted after upcoming artist Chygo Adz accused Kineo Madness of replicating elements of his 2024 track, “Yaya”, in the new song. Prior to the statement, social media buzz suggested that “Kwa Neba” may have been temporarily removed from YouTube, fueling speculation and debate among fans.
