Two SDA Youths Hospitalised After Road Accident in Kasungu

Two youths from the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church have been admitted to Kasungu General Hospital following a road accident that occurred earlier today as they travelled to carry out charity work at Kasungu Prison.
The group of 15 youths was travelling in a Toyota Voxy, registration number CK 5048, from the SDA Church in the Mumba area of Kasungu Municipality. The accident happened along the M1 highway when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and overturn.
According to church official Deus Salam, the two injured youths sustained serious injuries and were admitted to hospital for treatment, while the remaining passengers were treated for minor injuries and later discharged.
The group was reportedly on its way to conduct charitable activities at Kasungu Prison when the incident occurred.
Police in Kasungu is yet to issue an official statement.
