One of the well known businessman who also contested on the May 20 tripartite election as Candidate for Blantyre City South Ali Kaka Chinembo is in the hands of police for allegedly being suspected of killing a man in the commercial city with a pump gun.
Southern Region Police spokesperson, Nicholas Gondwa confirmed of the arrest.
In his speech, Gondwa said the suspect will be taken to caught soon to answer murder charges.
Kaka was arrested by Soche Police for killing Davie Kadzuwa Banda after picking a quarrel with him on Monday evening in Manja residential area, Blantyre.
According to the police , tempers are said to have flared when the aspiring politician started shouting at Banda for blocking the road with his lorry that was ferrying sand.
This is not the first crime for Chinembo as is also reported to have been arrested at Chileka Airport for allegedly using his father’s passport to travel outside the country.
