FIVE TEENAGERS NABBED FOR STEALING LAPTOP

Five teenagers are in Police custody in Ntchisi for allegedly stealing a laptop computer worthy MK215,000.

Ntchisi police confirmed of the development with the state controlled radio (MBC1) and said the laptop computer belonged to Blessings Robert who works as a nurse at Ntchisi District Hospital.

According to police, the incident happened on September 19, 2014 at Kanyamula’s compound near Kalema primary school in the district.

Police investigations revealed that the owner of the laptop computer discovered that the unknown criminals had broken into his house where a laptop was stolen when he reported back from work.

The five teenagers aged twelve to fifteen were arrested the following day after a tip from the people in the village.

The suspects who have been charged with house breaking and theft will appear in court soon.
