A Second year student at Livingstonia University has been found dead in Zolozolo Township of the northern city of Mzuzu on monday face of malawi has established.
Police have identified the deceased as David Kamanga.
He is suspected to have been murdered by a gang of boys over a girl issue. it is believed that the girl was also a girlfriend to one of the gangs.
Mzuzu police publicist Patrick Saulosi said they have opened investigations into re currently investigate “a suspicious death,
“We don’t have much information to release at this time”, .he said
Livingstonia University officials confirm the victim was a current student.
University officials are calling the death a tragedy.
The body of the student is at Mzuzu central hospital awaiting post-mortem.
Kamanga hailed from T/A Mthwalo in Mzimba.
