Two wives were in complete shock on 25th May when they found dead bodies of their husbands hanging from the roof top and of course in two separate incidents.
Mchinji police spokesperson Kaitano Lubrino identified the two husbands as John Shuko, 25 who hailed from traditional authority M`duwa and Rodrick Banda, 32 who hailed from Chimutu village, traditional authority Zulu.
Commenting on the case Lubrino said, “Both Banda and Shuko were discovered by their wives hanging dead on May 25, 2017 at around 1100hrs and 1700hrs respectively”.
It was gathered that Banda had been threatening to commit suicide because he had been sick for some time and he wanted to cut his life short.
While Shuko who was a bicycle repair at Chimuti Trading Centre, was on the day he committed suicide heard complaining of how his friends were mocking him that he was failing to take of his body.
