Sheriffs confiscate Kips Restaurant Chairs in Blantyre

Information reaching faceofmalwi indicates that Sheriffs on Wednesday invaded Kips Restaurant in the commercial capital Blantyre and confiscated chairs.

According information at hand, Kips management fired a motor cycle rider and accused him of stealing a motor cycle battery.

The suspect was arrested by the police and he was later released after it was discovered that the suspect was innocent.

Upon his release from police cells he sued the restaurant and won the case.

“The court ordered that he be compensated but kips management was reluctant hence today’s (Wednesday) seizure of chairs,” said an eyewitness who confided to faceofmalawi reporter.

Meanwhile Kips management has issued a cheque for the employee and the seized chairs have been returned by the sheriffs.
