Police in Limbe have arrested five suspected criminals in connection with robberies at the Polytechnic Chichiri hostels and in Limbe policing area recently.
Limbe Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Patrick Mussa confirmed of the arrest in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).
According to Mussa, the suspects were arrested on December 3 in the townships of Bangwe and Makhetha in Blantyre.
This follows protests by some Polytechnic students who have been complaining of incidences of robberies at the Chichiri Campus.
