The woman who last saw Bingu alive, discussing with him developments she needed in her area, before Bingu eventually collapsed of a cardiac arrest to his death, Agness Penimulungu Nandau, has just tumbled in her PP primary elections where she defected to from the DPP.
Penimulungu’s defection came as a shock to others as she was the last person to have been in the presence of late Mutharika and, according to her version, Mutharika had treated her with a kind courtesy that day never knowing that months later, Nandau will be on her way deserting the party he founded himself.
However, in the Peoples’ Party primaries held in Lilongwe City South East Constituency, Nandau has tumbled meaning she cannot stand on the ticket of the party she rushed to even before the body of late Mutharika had decomposed.
