Comedian Jakobo to leave for India for Kidney transplant on Wednesday

Well-known comedian Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jakobo will leave the country this coming Wednesday, November 7, 2018 for India where he is expected to undergo a Kidney transplant, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Mabedi was expected to leave the country on October 28, 2018 but the trip was delayed by the government after failing to secure some health report from a hospital in India.

The development placed Mabedi in an awkward situation, according to Friends of Eric Mabedi’s spokesperson Higger Mkandawire.

But Faceofmalawi can reveal that Mabedi will leave the country on Wednesday through Chileka International Airport.

Mabedi confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying all travelling documents and other medical reports are ready.

The trip will cost government money amounting to MK20 million.
