Plan International Malawi Practises What Is Preached on COVID-19

Plan International Malawi has showed a great example by embarking on following measures that have been put by World Heath Organisation to prevent corona virus.

At the entrance of Plan International Malawi, a bucket of water has been put with soap for people to wash hands before entering the offices.

Plan international Malawi Communications and Campaigns Manager, Rodgers Siula said everyone, staff to visitors, is encouraged to wash hands with soap and hand sanitizer at the entrance.

Mr Siula added that they want to build a culture of sanitation in a bid to prevent the virus.

After WHO announced that COVID-19 is a pandemic, it came out with measures to prevent the disease; Washing hands frequently, maintaining social distancing, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth and practicing respiratory hygiene.
