Jessie Kabwila joins campaign trail for Chakwera

United Transformation Movement (UTM) Jessie Kabwila who is also former Member of Parliament for Salima has come out of her cocoon to campaign for Tonse Alliance President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera ahead of the forthcoming fresh Presidential polls.

Kabwila was spotted at Balang’ombe Trading Centre in the capital Lilongwe where Chakwera stopped for the main campaign rally.

In her speech, Kabwila urged all UTM supporters to vote for Chakwera in the fresh Presidential polls.

She said Malawians should forget what happened in the past and forge ahead.

Kabwila dumped Malawi Congress Party (MCP) after losing the primaries in her constituency to the incumbent Member of Parliament for Salima North West Constituency.

She then joined UTM in the run up to the nullified May 21, 2019 Presidential polls.
