Bushiri returns to Court on Friday

The hearing of the bail in the case involving Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri is expected to resume tomorrow (Friday).

On Monday this week the Magistrate Court in South Africa postponed bail hearing after four hours of arguments between state proscutor and Bushiri’s lawyers.

Bushiri’s Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Bushiri and his wife were arrested two weeks ago for fraud and money laundering charges.

The case has attracted attention of Bushiri’s follows and some gather outside the court praying for speedy trial and justice.

Some of his follows in the country have asked Tonse Alliance government of Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to intervene on the matter by repatriating the preacher to Malawi.
