Zimbabwe has new Ambassador in Malawi

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has received Letters of Credence from Dr. Nancy Saungweme, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Malawi.

The function took place at Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe this morning.

Speaking after meeting Chakwera at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe, Saungweme said the two have discussed ways of strengthening relationship between the two nations, bearing in mind that there are many Malawians staying in Zimbabwe and many Zimbabweans in Malawi.

Malawi and Zimbabwe share common values. They were once one country with Zambia in the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland.
