Mtambo Says Those Planning To Frustrate Chakwera Administration Will ‘Labor in Vain’

Minister of National Unity and Civic Education Timothy Mtambo has challenged people with intentions to sabotage and frustrate the administration of President Lazarus Chakwera and Tonse Alliance that they will “labor in vain”

Mtambo wrote this on his official Facebook page saying that it is the message he has received from God.

The leader of Citizen for Transformation People Power Movement further added that God will see through people of Malawi and any ill mind from other people will not be effected.

“The spirit of the Lord tells me that anybody with an agenda to sabotage the leadership of President Chakwera and the Tonse Administration will labor in vain.  Mark my words God will see us through as a people. No amount of propaganda and sabotage is going to work,” Mtambo said.

The human rights advocate cum politician stressed that those with evil plans and are believed to be effecting them from hiding, will never hide again with their evil plans as they will be put on the ground.

According to Mtambo, Malawi has a leadership with good plans and intentions to see the country progressing and reclaim its Warm Heart of Africa honour.

“We must rise above pettiness and envy and work collectively to build our great nation,” he said.

He therefore urged the populace to rise in unity to support the administration and its leadership to fulfill the promises made during the campaign period ahead of the June 23, 2020 fresh presidential elections.

“We must stop working hard to make each other fail. Let us unite and pay allegiance to the great republic of Malawi. Together, we shall overcome,” he said.

Mtambo became a household name following his role as the chairperson of the Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) which led millions of Malawians into protests against the former head of State Peter Mutharika and his Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
